On Friday, May 23rd, 2025, Suzanne’s Career Solutions and Consultancy proudly hosted Mr. Sidiki Traore, President and Founder of Distance Education for Africa (D.E. Africa), an esteemed international NGO based in Washington, DC.
D.E. Africa is renowned globally for providing world-class distance education opportunities tailored to market needs. Having awarded over 60,000 scholarships to African students, D.E. Africa represents the largest engaged educational ecosystem on the continent. It offers specialized courses including Digital Transformation, Design Thinking, Digital Product Management, Customer-Centric IT Strategy, IT Strategy, Innovation in Business Models, and Advanced Business Strategy.
During his presentation, Mr. Sidiki highlighted how these courses significantly impact diverse sectors such as universities, defense forces, airlines, banks, ministries, NGOs, private businesses, correctional facilities, and refugee communities. Scholarship recipients have consistently reported gaining practical skills that help them address real-world challenges in both their professional and social environments.
“We live in a constantly evolving world. The workplace requires advanced skills and knowledge that align with industry trends and emerging technologies,” Mr. Sidiki emphasized. D.E. Africa remains committed to equipping professionals across the continent with innovative solutions and industry-relevant expertise.
