Advanced Topics in Cybersecurity Management is a DeAfrica course designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the principles, practices, and management activities used to protect information systems and organizations. 

The course examines security audits, product security certification, Certification and Accreditation of system installations, role-based access control, security engineering, and security management, with emphasis on how these areas work together to establish and maintain effective cybersecurity programs. Through instructor-led lessons, practical examples, classroom exercises, and homework assignments, students will develop the knowledge needed to evaluate security controls, understand formal security processes, and apply sound cybersecurity practices in real-world organizational environments.
